His industry contact list includes engineers, manufacturers, construction companies, utility companies, government officials, and freight forwarders, to name a few.

It all started when…

Ed worked in the Maintenance Department at his father's company at the ripe age of 14 in 1973. Robbins Motor Transportation was reaching 40 years old, and before he could drive a car, Ed's father was grooming him to run the company by starting him in the shop.

By the time Ed graduated from Villanova University in 1980, he had 7+ years of apprenticeship under his belt, from Mechanics to Drivers, even Field Technicians. Before working his way up to Chief Operating Officer, Ed drove pilot cars, tractor trailers and forklifts, operated heavy haul trailers and equipment, worked as a Safety Director, Dispatcher, Estimator, and in Sales & Marketing.

This was only the beginning of a career in the Heavy Haul Transportation Industry. As a right of passage to COO, Ed was slated with the duty of opening 6 additional regional offices and terminals, nationwide.

After selling the company in 2007, Ed worked with several heavy haul companies to improve their Sales & Marketing Programs and Operations. He managed complex heavy haul projects on a contract basis with several freight forwarding companies.
